Stiftsgården Konferens & Hotell in Skellefteå is the place for important meetings. We offer a conference facility for different types of conferences and meetings. Our conference rooms and meeting rooms are spread over several different buildings. All conference rooms are equipped with video projector, internet connection, flipchart and whiteboard as well as conference materials, fruits, sweets and water.
Brandell Hall
Brandellsalen is one of two major conference rooms at Stiftsgården Skellefteå. It is located in the hotel adjacent to the reception. Stylishly built and decorated with space and light. Västerbottnin glulam beams carry up the ceiling in the 6-cornered room.
The hall is named after Simon Brandell who was church pastor here in the yard in the late 1800s. He is best known for his success in combining the Swedish church tradition with the New Reading and the beginning Freemasonry. A good preacher and caring pastor who meant a lot to the church well into modern times. Simon Brandell has also got a street central in Skellefteå named after him, Brandell’s way.

Nordlander Hall
Nordlandersalen is one of our two larger rooms at Stiftsgården Skellefteå, located in connection with the hotel and the reception. Nordlandersalen can accommodate up to 100 people.
It is named after Skellefteå’s founder Nils Nordlander, who was church pastor here in the middle of the 19th century. He opened Skellefteå’s first savings bank in the rectory (our main building), made sure that Skellefteå got city rights, etc. His daughter Anna later became one of Sweden’s then most famous female artists. When you visit Stiftsgården you can enjoy her art in the manor’s upper lounges.

Isboden
An inspiring and unique conference room at Stiftsgården in Skellefteå. Isboden is a separate building in exposed timber, dating from the 18th century. The bright room and the generous ceiling height feel restful and you can concentrate on the meeting’s tasks.
With its open fireplace and sparsely decorated interior, it is ideally suited for creative meetings. Two group rooms are in direct connection. Isboden was originally used as a storage for ice and tool shop during the time that the farm was one of the largest agricultural areas in the area.

Margaretasalen
A cozy conference room at Stiftsgården in Skellefteå. The Margaretasalen is suitable for smaller conferences and also has a nice sitting group at the back of the room.
The room is named after Margareta Renhorn, who was a housewife here in the yard in the early 19th century. Margareta is a great role model for us working at Stiftsgården. She became widely known in the countryside for staying and eating out the Russian officers who besieged the farm during the 1809 war. The church pastor Nils Ström was forced to flee, but she stopped at her post.
It is believed that it was thanks to her hospitality and charming hostess that the farm was spared from burning down when the Russians withdrew after the war. And thanks to her we can still enjoy today the beautiful mansion and the unique cultural environment.

Lejonström room
The Lejonström Room at Stiftsgården Skellefteå is a meeting room with a board seat for 10 people. The room is named after the Lejonströmsbron, the long wooden bridge from 1735, which crosses the Skellefte River just below the Stiftsgården. Until 1905, Lejonströms saw was also just below Stiftsgården.
The Lejonström Room is a perfect meeting room for project groups and smaller conferences.

Fellström room
The Fellström room at Stiftsgården Skellefteå is a beautiful and bright room with a board seat for 10 people. High ceilings and a lovely atmosphere characterize this room located upstairs in the manor. Here you are separated but close to lunch and coffee. A perfect space for board meetings, management groups and smaller conferences.
The Fellström room is named after the priest August Fellström, who was church pastor here during the 1930-1950s. It is thanks to him that Stiftsgården’s history has been so well documented. He wrote by hand no less than 10,000 pages about the National Assembly and its church pastoral residence.

Sparbanksrummet
A meeting room at Stiftsgården Skellefteå with board seats and armchairs in the ring for 6 people. The Sparbanks room is located upstairs in the manor.
In this room, Skellefteå’s first savings bank was set up in the spring of 1853. It was the priest Nils Nordlander, as well as Skellefteå’s founder and resident of the farm, who made sure that Skellefteå got his first bank in the very same prostitute yard.

Upper lounge
The upper lounge is our cozy living room, upstairs in the manor. It is the place for management groups, board meetings and creative conferences, who want to sit comfortably in a unique environment. It accommodates 10 people in comfortable leather armchairs and the lounge is fully equipped with ceiling mounted projector, whiteboard, flipchart etc. We also provide computer if desired.
The upper salon is dedicated to the priest Lars Jonsson for everything he has done and done for Stiftsgården. Lars is widely known for his local history knowledge and diligently hired by our conference guests.
As part of the Upper Lounge you will also find the Anna room with generous Chesterfield sofas and small seating areas. Anna Nordlander is one of our more famous female 19th century artists. She is represented at, among others, the National Museum and in Skellefteå, MAN – Museum Anna Nordlander is named after her. Anna grew up here on the farm and was the daughter of Skellefteå’s founder Nils Nordlander.
In the evening, the Upper Lounge with the Anna Room and the Savings Bank Room is the living room for our guests. Here you have a drink before eating, enjoying coffee and avec or just hanging out.
